I’m coming to you from a weekend filled with lots of quality family time and also back-to-back musical theater 🫶 (both of which are making me feel so lucky and abundant).
Fun fact: I’ve been a pit orchestra violinist for 10+ years, and just wrapped up a lively and inspiring production of “Into the Woods”, a Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim (and book by James Lapine) intertwining multiple Brothers Grimm fairy tales into one.
The most special part? It was a youth production. Meaning: I got to immerse in the cathartic energy of youth experiencing the magic and transformation of live theater, some for the first time (aka lots of crying backstage iykyk).
