Welcome to day 4 of “literary-moon”: A series where I interview the incredible creatives and artists who contributed to the magic of my recent wedding festivities (both in the SF Bay Area and in Kerala, India).

If you missed our first three stories — the first featured Maria-Joy (curator of our wedding gift hampers), the second featured Jeremiah de Rozario (my favorite indie singer-songwriter), and the third featured Arnold Heiden (DJ and founder of Circle Of Artists).

Now, please enjoy today’s story featuring Jasmin Schuler, San Francisco-based wedding photographer who is unique in her approach to working with couples, and has truly been honing her craft since toddler-hood (her very first camera was a pink Analog Camera by Barbie).

Meet Jasmin Schuler

(Fun-fact: Jasmin is originally from Germany and is always thrilled when she gets the opportunity to work with couples back home and around the world!)

V: How did your photography business start?

Jasmin: My photography journey began with a deep passion for capturing authentic moments and telling visual stories — one that was passed down from my grandpa then mom.

I made the leap to full-time photography after realizing how much joy I found in documenting people’s most meaningful days.

It wasn’t an overnight decision but a gradual realization that I could turn my creativity into a career.

Wedding photography allows me to capture raw emotions and timeless moments—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
